Graduated from the National Theater Institute in acting and playwriting. She was a regular at Upright Citizens Brigade and starred in the Fort Tilden (SXSW 2014 – Grand Jury Prize). She is prolific in directing short films, including Affections (Sundance 2016), dark comedy Clara’s Ghost (Sundance 2018), the co-directed documentary The Starr Sisters (Sundance 2020, Palm Springs International ShortFest 2020 – Audience Pick), and the latest one Mirror Party (Sundance 2023). She is repped at Paradigm and has directed pieces for Vogue, Samsung and Snapchat etc. with the production company ArtClass. Bridey also teaches a short film workshop at the National Theater Institute.
