Born in Scotland and established in Hong Kong, Sophia SHEK is an independent producer known to champion underrepresented stories and directors. SHEK produced Emily Ting’s Go Back to China, which premiered at SXSW and screened at Edinburgh International Film Festival, as well as Ting’s first feature Already Tomorrow in Hong Kong. Shek also produced Simon Chung’s I Miss You When I See You, which premiered at the Hong Kong International Film Festival.
