Supporting HK Young Filmmakers to Platform BUSAN during BIFF 2023

Eye Catcher was glad to partner with Platform BUSAN in 2023 and support 2 Eye Catcher alumni to Busan for networking and exchange!
Organised by Busan International Film Festival (BIFF) and Asian Contents & Film Market (ACFM), Platform BUSAN aims to welcome new and emerging Asian independent filmmakers to Busan providing an opportunity of global networking. Sharing the same vision, Eye Catcher works in harness with Platform BUSAN to grow the community of independent filmmaking together.
Eye Catcher sponsored two young filmmakers LEUNG Kam Fai and Benson NG to attend Platform BUSAN 2023 in person. Both participated in the Eye Catcher Incubation Programme 2022/23 and the International Pitching Forum of Eye Catcher Global 2023.
Platform BUSAN 2023 attracted 115 filmmakers from 24 regions around the world. During the 4-day programme, Fai and Benson enjoyed not only the various talks echoing industry trends but also the pitches given by their PB fellows from around the world. They shared their experience and observations with the latest cohort of the Eye Catcher Incubation Programme 2023/24.

奪目影像首次與Platform BUSAN作為夥伴合作，資助兩名奪目alumni——梁錦輝及吳家偉前往釜山進行交流！
Platform BUSAN由韓國釜山國際影展（BIFF）及其亞洲內容暨電影市場展（ACFM）主辦，旨在為亞洲新晉電影人打造國際交流平台，與 Eye Catcher Global (ECG) 宗旨不謀而合。Platform BUSAN 2023於10月7日至10日釜山國際影展期間舉行，吸引了來自全球24個地區、合共115名影像創作者參加。
兩位入選交流計劃的青年導演均曾參加奪目影像廠牌孵化計劃2022/23並入選Eye Catcher Global 2023國際提案大會。Platform BUSAN 2023安排的不同活動及PB同伴的專場提案令兩位此趟釜山行收穫滿滿，回港後也與奪目影像孵化計劃2023/24學員分享他們的經驗與所見所聞。
